What time do we have to return the little house?
Your cottage must be vacated by 10 a.m.
Am I allowed to invite family and friends to the cottage? If so, is there a charge?
If you wish to bring friends or family, you must inform the reception desk. A supplement of €2 per person will be charged. Visitors are not allowed in the swimming pool.
What to do if you arrive late?
In order not to disturb other campers, we accept arrivals until 8:00 pm. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do I have to pay a deposit at the time of installation?
A deposit of €180 is required when the keys are handed over. This will be returned to you after the inventory has been taken on the day of your departure.
Do I need to make an appointment for the rental departure?
Inventories are carried out between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. You can make an appointment if you wish to leave before 10 a.m.
Can we bring our own barbecue?
Only electric barbecues are accepted. We also offer plancha rental.
Is it possible to choose your own site or cottage?
Please let us know your preference when booking, we will do our utmost to satisfy you.
How late can I drive into the campsite?
Traffic is prohibited from 10.30pm to 7am.
Is wearing a bracelet compulsory?
Yes, in July and August
Are pets allowed on the campsite?
Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash, vaccinated and not left unattended.
Is it possible to chill food?
If you wish, we can rent you a fridge, and a freezer for bottles or ice packs is available in one of the two washrooms.
Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?
Only electric barbecues are allowed; we also offer plancha rental.
Are minors accepted?
They must be accompanied by their parents or an adult over 18.
Are visitors welcome?
They must report to reception and pay the applicable fee. Visitors are not allowed in the pool.
Is my dog allowed in the rental property?
Only one dog is allowed per cottage, free of charge. The housekeeping option is compulsory.
My cottage is available before 4 p.m. Is it possible to arrive earlier?
Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm.
Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?
No, in order to respect the peace and quiet of our campers, arrivals are between 3pm and 7pm. In case of delay, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can we leave outside reception opening hours?
For departures outside reception opening hours, please contact us (departures possible from 7am).
Do you offer cleaning packages?
A cleaning package is offered at the time of booking.
Can I put a tent next to the cottage?
For safety reasons, tents are not allowed next to small houses.
When can I get my deposit back?
Your deposit will be returned to you once your cottage has been inventoried.
What are the arrival and departure times for camping pitches?
For camping pitches, arrivals are between 3pm and 7pm, departures before 11:30am.
What are the arrival and departure times for small houses?
For small houses, arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm, departures before 10am.
Is there wifi in the campsite?
A free wifi zone is available around the common buildings (restaurant, bar, swimming pool, reception).
Is there a launderette on the campsite?
A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in one of the two washrooms, and tokens can be purchased at reception.
Do you accept vacation vouchers?
Only vacation vouchers are accepted.
How do I cancel a reservation?
At the time of booking, a deposit of 25% has been requested. To cancel a booking, it is essential to have chosen the option of cancellation insurance. Without insurance, your deposit will not be refunded.
How do I modify a reservation?
Please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail. Changes must be made 30 days before your arrival date.
How can I make a reservation?
You can book directly on our website by clicking on the “book” button.
Can I pay in instalments?
A deposit is required within 7 days of booking, and the balance one month before arrival.
When do I have to pay the balance of my reservation?
The balance of your booking must be paid one month before your arrival date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by cash, credit card, cheque, vacation vouchers and bank transfer.
Is smoking allowed in rental properties?
No, all rentals are non-smoking. It is possible to smoke on your covered terrace.
Do you have any PRM accommodation?
Yes, 1 small house can accommodate a person with reduced mobility. Please call us beforehand.
How are the accommodations equipped?
In each house, you’ll find all the appropriate equipment. Sheets and towels are optional. Consumables needed during your stay are not supplied: toiletries and toilet paper, food, salt, pepper, oil…
Is it possible to rent a baby cot or high chair?
Yes, high chair and cot can be hired. Sheet, fitted sheet and bath towel provided.
Is the cottage equipped with air conditioning?
No, small houses are insulated and equipped with roller shutters like “real houses”! Air conditioning is not essential!
Does the cottage have a TV?
Yes, every house has a small TV with TNT channels.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Sheets and towels are optional.
Can I park a second vehicle near my tiny house?
No, only 1 vehicle is allowed near the houses. The second vehicle (extra charge) will be parked in a parking lot.
What is the minimum number of nights for a rental?
Depending on the time of year, between 1 and 7 nights. Don’t hesitate to call us to find out about our possibilities.
What are the bed sizes?
- large double bed: 140X190
- single bed: 90X190
Is there heating in the accommodation?
Yes, all houses are heated
What type of coffeemaker are small houses equipped with?
The houses are equipped with a traditional coffee maker requiring ground coffee and filters.
How many campers do you accept per site?
We accept 8 campers per pitch, and 6 campers on luxury pitches.
Is it possible to rent a fridge for campers?
Le Hameau des Champs offers table-top fridge rentals. You can select this option at the time of booking.
Are water and electricity included in the price of the pitch?
Yes, the package includes all the services offered by the campsite.
Is water available on every pitch?
Numerous water points are available on the campsite. If you’d like a direct water connection, the Grands conforts pitches are for you!
What kind of electrical outlets are available on the pitches?
These are European sockets (type P17) with 10A.
What are the maximum dimensions for caravans and motorhomes?
Le Hameau des Champs can accommodate you if your motorhome or caravan does not exceed 8m².
Is there a hall in case of rain?
A yurt equipped with tables and chairs for 19 people is at your disposal.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the pool is heated according to the weather and with respect for nature (e.g. in the middle of a cool or rainy week, the pool will not be heated for a day of good weather!)
Is the pool supervised?
No, children must remain under adult supervision.
Are swimming shorts allowed?
No, to limit the development of chloramines (which sting the eyes!), shorts are forbidden.
Do visitors have access to the campsite swimming pool?
No, visitors are not allowed to swim.
When are the swimming pools open?
Weather permitting … from 9am to 8pm.
Do you have a kids’ club?
No, but a playground and board games for them to play in our yurt or on your pitch are available.
Do I have to pay for wifi?
Free wifi
Are bicycles available for hire on site?
Rental of adult bicycles (non-electric), children’s mountain bikes and trailers is available at reception.
Do you lend helmets for bicycles?
Helmets are available for loan with every rental.
Do you offer any entertainment at the campsite?
Concerts are offered every Friday evening in high season from 7:30pm to 10pm near the pool and restaurant.
Are there any shops on the campsite?
We have a small grocery store for 1st necessity products, coffee machine and the possibility to order bread and pastries and complete breakfasts.
Do you lend out outdoor games?
We lend ping-pong and badminton rackets, pétanque balls, footballs, basketballs…
Is there a hall in case of rain?
A yurt equipped with tables and chairs for 19 people is at your disposal.
What does the bar-restaurant offer?
From 4pm, the café La belle Epoque offers ice creams, waffles, pizzas, drinks and a choice of draught beer. From 6:30 pm, you can dine on a menu of the day, à la carte dishes or pizza. Our dishes are simple, delicious and generous!
How far is the campsite from the nearest shops?
Camping Le Hameau des Champs is located in the village of Cormatin. Within 200m, you’ll find 2 bakeries, a tobacconist’s, a butcher’s, 2 grocery stores and 1 wine cellar.
How far is the campsite from the cycle paths?
Le Hameau des Champs campsite is located along the Voie Verte linking Macon and Chalon sur Saône.
How far are we from Cluny?
You can reach Cluny in 10 minutes by car or 1 hour by bike along the Voie Verte.
Where is the nearest train station?
Macon TGV station is 30 minutes from the campsite.
How far away is the Taizé Community?
Camping Le Hameau Des Champs is 3.5 km from Taizé.
Is it possible to take the bus?
An SNCF bus stop in the village gives you easy access to Chalon sur Saône and Mâcon.
Where and when are the nearest markets?
Many markets are held daily in the surrounding villages. We’ll be happy to give you the details at reception.
Who do I contact in the event of a dispute?
The campsite’s telephone reception is open 7 days a week during the high season and allows you to leave a message during the winter season.
Where can I find the price list?
Rates vary according to the period you wish to book. To get a precise idea of the rate, we invite you to make a simulation on the site by clicking on the “book” button. We are also at your disposal by telephone or e-mail.
What does cancellation insurance cover?
We offer full cancellation insurance: the insurance will refund 100% of your deposit if you have proof of payment, or 70% of your deposit if you do not have proof of payment.
