The village’s main street runs alongside the French park of Château de Cormatin. This beautiful building, set in a bucolic setting, attracts many visitors each year for the beauty of its interior and gardens.

Just a stone’s throw from the château, you’ll find the Galerie Artisanale et Gourmande de Cormatin. Spread over 800 m² (free admission) in 4 rooms, some 100 art and gastronomy exhibitors present their creations. An opportunity to discover French craftsmanship in an impressive and surprising setting.

As you leave the village, on the road to Chissey, take note of the original Cormatin pyramid. Since 2007, Gérard, an Egyptian enthusiast, has been reproducing the Khéops pyramid on a 1/5 scale – a must-see!

In Cormatin, the greenway that passes close to the village makes it easy to cycle to Cluny in the south or Chalon sur Saône in the north.

A short detour to the caves will take you to the Mont Saint-Romain orientation table, offering an exceptional view of the valleys of Cormatin.

And don’t miss the nearbyAbbaye de Cluny. Dating from the 10th century, it is one of France’s must-see monuments during a stay in Burgundy.

Finally, 8 kilometers north of Cormatin, the Château de Sercy is also well worth a visit. This listed château is set in a green setting. With its chapel, flower-filled park and pond, it’s the perfect place to spend a pleasant moment.

Reception open from 8am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm. To keep things calm, you won’t be able to settle in between 12pm and 3pm.

We do not take reservations by e-mail or telephone. Reservations can be made directly on this site at no extra charge.

Departures must be before 11:30 a.m. for campsites and 10 a.m. for rentals. No arrivals after 8:00 p.m. to avoid disturbing the neighbors!

Wearing a wristband is compulsory in order to stop any malevolent persons: this is for your own safety.

Swimming shorts are not allowed in the pool area: boxer shorts and speedos are compulsory.

No traffic between 10:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (gate closed)

Visitors must arrive during reception opening hours and are charged €2 per person without access to the pool (without authorization = €10/person).

All booked stays are non-refundable: remember to take out cancellation insurance.
