Taizé : The Taizé Community, directly accessible by the greenway (no car needed), brings together around a hundred Catholic and Protestant brothers from nearly thirty nations. Thanks to its very existence, it is a “parable of community”: a concrete sign of reconciliation between divided Christians and separated peoples. Over the years, more and more young people from every continent have come to Taizé for weeks of meetings. Church leaders also come to Taizé, and the community has welcomed Pope John Paul II.
